What Is She Going To Think of Next?

This is Skylee's "act of Silly-ness" for this week. I swear that she does something at least once a week like this that cracks me up. She was so proud and excited about her new "chair" (her toy box that she emptied out) that she got mad and started crying when I stopped taking her picture. She is such a goof!

MMM....Spaghetti O's!

Aren't you glad we don't all eat like 20 month olds!

Way To Go Utes!!

The Utes upset UCLA on Saturday (not only upset them but DESTROYED them 44-6) and we were there to witness it. It was seriously one of the best games that I've ever been to and I'm glad that we were able to be there. I'm also glad that my mom and dad and Justyn's mom and dad were able to join us too. It made for a really fun afternoon! Skylee had a lot more fun at this game than the previous weeks game because we actually had a lot to cheer about and she was able to do "touchdown". There were no Ute touchdowns last week so it was pretty boring. She has a lot more fun when the crowd is into the game because she likes to clap and scream too.

Such a Big Girl!

We don't have any pictures for this one but I wanted to share it with everyone anyway because it was so exciting. Skylee went pee in her potty for the first time last night!! We were getting ready for a bath and Skylee came walking in the bathroom all naked and ready and decided to sit on her potty. She usually does this before her bath but nothing has ever happened before. When she sat down I said "go pee Skylee". She looked at me and then got this weird look on her face. I couldn't hear anything happening so I figured she was just looking at me funny. Then she stood up and sure enough, she had pee'd! She looked kind of scared like she didn't know what had happened, but when she saw how excited me and Justyn were, she got excited too. Yay Skylee!! You are such a big girl!

The Fair...Again

We went to the Utah State Fair this week and it was fun. We got to see lambies, goats, piggies, giant cows, and a cool pirate. I loved looking at and petting (and sometimes kissing when mommy and daddy weren't looking) the animals. I also liked all of the lights that were on the rides. I wanted to ride them but mommy said I was too little. Before we left, we ate a yummy funnel cake that had strawberries and powdered sugar on top. It was really good but it made me wired for the car ride home. I sang and danced all the way home.

No Pants!

Skylee figured out how to take her pants off all by herself today, then she wouldn't keep them on. Every time I turned around, there was Skylee "streaking" around the house laughing.

Go Utes!!

We went to the Utes first home game of the season with Jett and his mommy and daddy, and grandma and grandpa. I was excited to wear my new Utah jersey. I had so much fun watching and clapping and screaming (at least for the first hour). Then at half time there were some neat parachuters that I thought were pretty cool. After a while I got bored, but grandma and grandpa had ice cream and a snow cone so I shared that with them which kept me occupied for a while. Then, I didn't want to sit anymore so daddy took me to walk around, which was fun too. The Utes lost but it was still lots of fun. I was so tired once the game was over that I fell asleep as soon as we got in the car.

My New Fort

Daddy bought me this cool "fort" and I was so excited. I immediately furnished it with my Elmo chair and my blankie. I love to hang out in there with all of my stuffed animal friends, and sometimes I hide from mommy in it too.

Looks Silly...But Actually Smart!

I don't know exactly what Skylee is doing here, but it really made me laugh. I was in our office and could hear some strange noise coming from the living room and this is what I found. Skylee had taken the garbage can out of the office (I didn't even know), pushed it all the way to the living room, and proceeded to empty everything out and crawl inside. The conclusion that I came to was that there was a sticky note stuck to the bottom of the can and that is how she figured she could get it since she couldn't reach it just reaching in...pretty smart! If you look close, she's actually smiling at me through the garbage can. What a goof!

My New Friend!

Mommy's friend Erin that she used to play basketball with was in town with her husband Jonathan and baby Aubrey. They live in Idaho so we don't see them very often. I've never even met them before so it was fun to make a new friend. We all had lunch together at Cafe Rio and it was Yummy! Aubrey is almost 3 months younger than me, but she was so nice. She even gave me hugs and kisses. We got along really well. It was so much fun to hang out with them and to play with Aubrey. Thanks Erin, Jon, and Aubrey for coming to visit!! I hope we can hang out again soon.
