Being Silly

As you all know, Skylee loves being silly so here are a few of her silly Florida moments. And no, we don't put Skylee in the dog cage when she's naughty...she decided that it was fun to hang out in the cage for some reason.

Looking for Manatees

In Florida, there are a lot of places that you can go to see manatees. You can even pet them if you can get close enough. They like the warmer water of the inlets there. We went a couple times to see if we could see some, but we never did. Skylee was just as happy with the flower that she found.

The Magic Kingdom at Disney World

We spent a day at The Magic Kingdom at Disney World in Orlando. It was one of the funnest things that we did while we were in Florida. We went the day before Halloween so the entire park was decorated for Halloween...it was really cool. We all had a blast there, especially Skylee. She got excited at literally everything she saw. It was fun to see her reactions to things and to see her having so much fun. She loved getting her picture taken with Mickey, Goofy, Donald and Pluto...but I think her favorite thing was going on the rides. She even learned how to say "ride" before the day was over.

Skylee's New Friend

Haylee and Chris had some of their friends come over to have their little girl trick or treat with Skylee. She was just a few months older than Skylee and they got along really well. After we went trick or treating, we all went back to Haylee and Chris's house to hang out. Skylee taught Sophie how to do somersaults and that was all they did all night. They were really cute playing together.

Happy Halloween from Florida!!

Halloween in Florida was fun but very different. Trick or Treating in 70 degree weather and seeing palm trees everywhere is kind of strange. It was seriously a huge neighborhood party. Everyone was sitting out on their lawn chairs drinking their beers and socializing and there were more people out trick or treating than I think I've ever seen. Skylee had a blast but ended up getting warm and unzipping her Elmo costume so she was walking around with her belly hanging out.

Justyn's Helicopter Ride

Justyn got to go on a helicopter ride with Chris and Haylee (I had a cold and didn't feel good so Skylee and I stayed home). Here are some of the views of Florida from the air.

Trick or Treat!

We had our ward Halloween Party last night and Skylee got to go "Trunk or Treating". She had a blast walking around with daddy (more like leading daddy by the reigns) and after each car, she would sign "more, more, more". She loved wearing her Elmo costume too. She didn't want to take it off after the party.

I Love My Puppy!

Skylee loves Hurley so much...and Hurley is really good about all of the love that she gets from Skylee. Skylee can crawl all over her and Hurley just lays there. I think she likes all the attention that Skylee gives her.

Signing Time Live

We took Skylee to the Signing Time Live concert since Signing Time (or "Leah") is her all-time favorite show. She was so excited when we walked in and she heard the Signing Time music playing. She was dancing and jumping around in her seat. It was really cute. Then when she actually saw Leah and the other people from the show, she was even more excited and couldn't stop pointing at them. It was really fun to see her so excited and into the show. She even did some of the signs along with everyone. I must say it was a lot more fun than I expected. I wish we could have taken more pictures but as soon as the show started, you couldn't use cameras anymore.

Yay, Another Vacation!

We took our annual Fall trip to Jackson Hole and Yellowstone. It was a lot colder than in previous years, and it was quite rainy and snowy but it was still a lot of fun. The fall colors were beautiful as always, and we saw lots of animals which Skylee loved. We really love it there this time of year and can't wait to go again next year!
