Kaisyn's first boating trip actually went pretty well...I was quite nervous. He just sat there and slept most of the time. He got a little fussy if the boat wasn't moving, but I think that is because it was really hot. As long as we were moving, he was happy as can be...either sleeping or looking around. He didn't even neat to eat on the boat and we were on it for nearly 4 hours...what a good baby!

A Day at the Lake
We went boating with some friends on the 24th at Willard Bay
and Skylee had a blast. She loved being on the boat and waving the flag when someone fell water-skiing. She also really liked swimming in the lake, as long as daddy was right there. Justyn had fun wake boarding, and actually caught a little air!

2 Year Old Diva
Skylee got these cute sunglasses as a "potty prize" for peeing in the potty. She was so excited that she wanted to wear them to church. When she put them on with her church outfit, she looked like such a little diva...it made us laugh. She's getting so grown up!

A Little Dancer?
Here is Skylee at her first dance class...yes dance :) One of the Young Women in our neighborhood is doing a cute dance class once a week for an hour for all of the little girls in the neighborhood. It is really cute and Skylee loves it. They run around, do somersaults, and are actually learning a dance. It's a great break for me once a week, and Skylee has a blast with all of her little friends.

A "Big" Little Brother
Here is a picture of Kaisyn taking a bath at 2 months old and Skylee taking a bath at 2 months old. I just thought I would share this comparison because Kaisyn is so much bigger than Skylee was at this age. He's already hanging out of his little tub!

Fireworks are so Loud!
This is Kaisyn enjoying Justyn's firework show on Saturday night. He just sat and watched, and when they were really loud his eyes would get really big. It was pretty funny. At least he didn't cry through the whole thing.

Happy 4th of July!
Kaisyn's 4th of July was just as busy as Skylee's, except for he mostly just slept, which is good because it was hot! He hung out with his buddy Hudson (who really is only 2 weeks younger than Kaisyn) and watched some of the fireworks. I thought they would have scared him but he didn't cry...he just watched and got really big eyes when they were really loud.

4th of July Weekend
4th of July Weekend was so fun. The 4th was busy...we went to the Kaysville parade with some friends that morning. Skylee had a blast picking up candy and running around with her friends. Then we went to Layton Park for lunch...mmmmm, navajo tacos. After we ate and walked around a bit, we went home to get out of the heat and take naps. Once we were all refreshed, we went back to Layton Park with our friends for the fireworks. They were pretty good, and Skylee thought they were pretty. On Saturday night, we did our own fireworks and Skylee had her first experience with Sparklers...she thought they were pretty neat.

The Things Babies Love
I had Kaisyn sitting on my bed today with the ceiling fan on while I was getting ready and I looked out and saw him smiling away happy as can be. He was watching the fan, which was apparently pretty funny to him because he was laughing away (even though he doesn't make actual laughing noises yet...just an occasional "ha").

Roasting Marshmallows
Skylee had her first marshmallow roasting experience last weekend. Grandma and Grandpa Boudreau were camping so we decided to go up and visit them and make smores. She thought roasting the marshmallows was pretty cool but she didn't like them "cooked" so she wouldn't eat them unless they were straight out of the bag. She also didn't like the smores much, but liked all the ingredients separately. She invented her own treat that she liked...the marshmallow sandwich (she put an un-cooked marshmallow in between 2 graham crackers).
