Something to remember when you go to Yellowstone

This was Justyn's favorite sign in Yellowstone park...and I agree it is pretty funny. Is there really a problem with that???

Tetons & Yellowstone

Seeing the sights at the Tetons and in Yellowstone was fun too. I don't think we have ever seen the Tetons with as much snow on them as there was. It was really pretty!! And I don't think I've seen snow in Yellowstone...at least not as much as much as we saw in places. There were seriously some walls of snow that were at least 10 feet high along the road, and some of the lakes were still partially frozen wich was really pretty. It was weird because all of the rivers and streams were REALLY high, and there were lakes in places we have never seen lakes before. It was really fun to see the different landscape that Spring in Yellowstone has to offer.

Lions & Tigers & Bears!

Ok...more like Buffalo & Elk & Bears. If you want to see bears in Yellowstone Spring is the time to go!! We saw 2 black bears & a grizzly (almost saw a grizzly and 2 cubs but they hid behind some bushes before we got to see them...SHOOT!). And 1 of the black bears was closer than at the Zoo!! It was pretty amazing...we just sat and watched him walk along and eat for the longest time. We also saw the normal Buffalo and some Elk too, which the kids really liked because they were close too. We went to the Grizzly Discovery Center in West Yellowstone too and got to see wolves and grizzlies up close. It was really cool...and I think it was Kaisyn's favorite place because he could see the animals good. He's going to LOVE the zoo!!
