Already Computer Literate

Skylee loves to play on her computer, especially when Justyn and I are on our computers. She already understands the concept of the keyboard and mouse, which is pretty good for not even being 2. She's going to be a computer nerd just like her daddy :)

Florida Trip #2

I know it's taken me a while, but here are the pictures from our latest trip to Florida (now everyone can be happy that the blog is updated). We were there for almost 3 weeks, so we had plenty of time to do lots of fun things. It was also fun to spend time with Haylee and Chris, even though they were probably sick of us by the time we left...especially since we gave them colds before we left (Sorry!!!!). Yes, we all got colds in Florida. Who would have thought we would leave cold, snowy Utah and go to nice warm Florida and get a cold. Oh well...we still were able to have tons of fun! Thanks Haylee and Chris, for being so hospitable and letting us stay with you guys.

The Zoo

We went to the zoo one day with Haylee and Chris. It was fun to see all the animals. Skylee's favorite this time was the giraffes. She even got to feed them crackers. She also found a giraffe friend to take home with her.

A Day at the Beach

In the 2 1/2 weeks we were in Florida, we only spent 1 day at the beach (there was a tropical storm the week we had planned to go again so we had to make other plans). Luckily, the day we did go was great weather...it was one of the only days that didn't rain. It was fun and Skylee had a lot more fun than the last time we were there. She actually liked getting her feet in the ocean, and playing with her sand toys. She really had fun finding sea shells and putting them in her bucket.

Space Shuttle Launch

We got to see the space shuttle launch while we were in Florida. It was so awesome to be there and see and hear it launch. It was a beautiful day, despite being really hot and humid. We were only about 10 miles away from the launch site so we had a really good view.

Gatorland

We went to Gatorland one day with Haylee and Chris. It was really neat. It was amazing how many gators were actually there. It's definitely called Gatorland for a reason! We got to feed them hot dogs, which made them swarm and pounce on them. It was really cool to see them so active.

Go Bucs!

We got to go to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers NFL football game in Tampa, Florida. We had really close seats, which made it really fun. It was really cool to go to a NFL game, and Skylee had a blast. She even had an official Bucs jersey, thanks to Haylee and Chris. The Bucs ended up losing by 1 point to Jacksonville, so it was a really good game.
