Skylee's 3rd Birthday

Skylee's 3rd Birthday wasn't too eventful, mainly because I was still sick, but she seemed to have a fun day anyways. She woke up to a bouquet of balloons in the living room and she was so excited. Those kept her occupied all day, which was good because we had to wait for Justyn to get home from work for presents. While we were waiting, we made the "cake" that Skylee picked out...she picked an Oreo No-Bake Jell-o cake (I have no idea why...I don't know if she's ever even tasted one or seen one), and then she saw sprinkles and had to have those too. So I mad the cake and Skylee put the sprinkles on. I must say it turned out pretty beautiful :) When Justyn got home, he took her to MyGym and then told her she could have anything she wanted for dinner and guess what she chose...a corn dog from Arctic Circle. After dinner she finally got to open presents. She got lot's of fun games, a sticker book, an Aquadoodle, and an Ipod! Now don't worry...it's just an old one of Justyn's that we gave to her. We bought this cool kid-friendly cover for it that came with headphones and she loves it! She hasn't put it down. She can listen to music, but coolest of all (at least to her) is that she can watch movies on it. She's been watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse non-stop on it.

Skylee's 1st Attempt at Drawing a Person

Skylee loves to color and doodle, but has never really drawn anything...until now. I asked her to draw a person and this is what she came up with...I thought it was so cute!

Skylee's 1st Day of Primary

Skylee has graduated from Nursery at Church, and is now in Primary! I can't believe it. She did pretty well, but was wondering why there were no treats :)

Christmas Day

I think this year was Skylee's funnest Christmas, and the funnest for us to watch her. She was so excited all morning and couldn't get enough presents. She loved everything she got, but her favorites were her hula hoop, her new truck, and all of her fun dress up princess clothes.

Kaisyn's 1st Christmas

Kaisyn seemed to enjoy his first Christmas. I didn't know if he would care much, only being 8 months old, but he acted really excited when you gave him a present...and after you helped him open it, he seemed to understand that it was for him. He had fun playing with all of his new toys, but I think he had the most fun playing with the wrapping paper and the packaging :)

Merry Christmas to All...

We just wanted to wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas with a cute picture of Skylee and Kaisyn in their "Christmas Outfits". Doesn't Kaisyn look so handsome in his tie :) We hope you all have a wonderful holiday and a Happy New Year!

Sitting Up

Kaisyn is sitting up with no help now...and he LOVES it. I can put him down and he will just sit and play, sometimes for close to an hour (which is SOOOOO nice for mommy). Then when he gets tired of sitting, he tips himself over and rolls, rolls, rolls (he's not crawling yet, but can roll anywhere he needs to go).

Snow Day!

Skylee has been wanting to go outside and play in the snow forever, but there hasn't been enough to make it worth it yet...until now. She went outside with Justyn when he went out to shovel, and they were out there for over an hour...and she loved every minute of it (and so did Hurley...who also LOVES the snow).
