Today was Justyn's birthday (Happy Birthday Babe!) and it turned out to be a pretty good day. He didn't have to work too much so we got to go to lunch while Skylee was in school, which was really fun. He got spoiled with lots of nice gifts, and Skylee even made him a birthday cake (pretend out of her kitchen). The funny thing is, her cake turned out better than my cake...which turned into a total DISASTER. Here is the story...we have a cake mold for a "giant cupcake" and Justyn's request was just the top of the cupcake. I thought easy enough...but apparently only filling half of the mold doesn't work too well. It ended up tipping over and spilling cake batter all over the oven, which burned and caused our house to STINK like burnt cake all day. So luckily our nice friends made Justyn a birthday cake :)

Hey Linds! I found your cute blog! Kyle burnt the roast wheh I went to Relief Society last week and I can still smell it when I walk in the house....how did you get the smell out?
Ceryl, luckily the cake stink was pretty much gone after a day of opening the windows. I'm sure burnt roast is a little harder to get rid of :) Your blog is super cute btw!
