Kaisyn's Day of Fun in the Sun

Kaisyn's day wasn't spent swimming like Skylee's. Instead, he crawled around on the towels, ate all the food that I brought, and relaxed in the swing. He LOVES the swing and could seriously spend hours in it. I think we need to get one!

Heritage Days

Kaisyn seemed to have fun at all of the Heritage Days festivities too. He liked all the trucks in the parade (but didn't love all the sirens), and had fun at the carnival until he took a little nappy in his stroller.

Heritage Days

Every year we go to the Syracuse Heritage Days Parade and Carnival, and this year was no exception. Skylee had a BLAST hanging out with her buddy Jett, picked up TONS of candy at the parade, and loved riding on the train with Kaisyn. It was such a fun day, and it ended with a pretty good firework show!

Learning to Walk

Kaisyn's new favorite thing to do is walking with his walking toys. He gets the biggest grin on his face and he gets soooooo excited. He thinks he is so big!

Skylee's 1st Soccer Practice

We signed Skylee (and her 3 buds Harlee, Preslie and Amari) up for a Soccer Class to teach her the basics of kicking, dribbling, trapping, etc. and to see if she actually liked playing it (she watches Justyn and I play all the time and says she wants to play). Her first class was yesterday and she was soooooo excited. She was telling everyone we saw yesterday that she had soccer class and that she gets to wear her soccer things (shin guards). The class was a huge success and Skylee had a BLAST! She was so cute in her soccer gear, and it was FUN watching her play soccer. She actually did really well! I think it will be really good for her. She will get 6 classes, and their last one they are going to ATTEMPT to scrimmage...that will be so cute!

Princess Party!

Skylee got invited to her friend Amari's princess birthday party. As you can imagine, Skylee was sooooooo excited to be a princess and actually get to wear her princess dress out of the house. She had a BLAST...thanks Amber!

Kaisyn's New Favorite Game

The other day I was in the kitchen cleaning up from lunch and Kaisyn came crawling out of the laundry room with a towel on his head giggling like crazy. It made me laugh so hard...and because I was laughing, he kept putting the towel on his head and crawling around. Since then he plays this game with anything...socks, clothes, towels...whatever he can get his little hands on. I'm just waiting for him to come crawling out with undies on his head :)

Fun at the Gateway

We went to the Gateway the other night with some friends to go to dinner and let the kids play in the water fountains. Skylee thought it was pretty fun, but was kind of scared of the water...she got a little used to it by the end but it got kind of cold and rainy so we had to stop the fun. We will have to go back another day when the sun is shining bright...I think she would like it more.
