We decided to take a day trip to Bear Lake to relax and play on the beach. The weather was perfect...overcast and not too hot. The kids had a blast playing in the water and digging in the sand...and Skylee learned that a good way to get warm is to get buried in the sand!

Football season is here!
Football season is finally here and the Utes 1st home game was against Utah State. It wasn't the most exciting game, but it was still fun...even if the kids were a little fussy and whiny! Go Utes!!!!!!

1st steps...but better late than never right? He thinks
it's the coolest thing ever now...and thinks he's sooooo big
whenever he is walking.
We are all in trouble now :)

Bear Lake
We have been to Bear Lake a couple times since I have posted on Kaisyn's Blog so I think I will just combine the pics into one post. Kaisyn LOVES playing at Bear Lake!! He loves digging in the sand and throwing it. He loves crawling through the lake (he seriously looked like a baby bear crawling through the water) and splashing in the water. He learned that he HATES moss floating in the water and that sand tastes yucky! And most of all...I think he just loves getting messy!

Skylee's 1st Day of Pre-School
I cannot believe that my baby girl is old enough to be starting school...but she is! She started Pre-School today and she LOVED it!! She was sooooo excited to go, especially with her new princess bag (thanks again mom). The only thing that she didn't like was the name tag she had to put on when we got there. She came home all smiles though and excited for Thursday!

Skylee's new Smile
Friday night we went to the Syracuse High football game with some friends and had quite a traumatic experience with Skylee. She was climbing on one of the metal fences that borders the track (even though mommy and daddy asked her about 100 times not to climb on the fence) and slipped and smashed her face on the bar. There was so much blood, and she was freaking out so bad that it was hard to see what exactly was going on. We took her over to the paramedics that were on-site and had them look in her mouth and they determined that her tooth was so loose that it needed to be pulled out. So Skylee ended up with a missing front tooth, a chipped front tooth, another loose tooth and VERY sore gums. She actually hit the fence so hard that there were metal shavings in her mouth! Anyway, she actually handled it pretty well after we got her calmed down, cleaned up, and got some pain medicine in her. She slept through the night that night and barely complained the next day. Her main problem is eating, which is kind of hard. We are taking her to a dentist this week to make sure all is well and that there is no major damage in her mouth. It was so scary to see that much blood coming from my baby girl :( I'm just thankful for all of our friends who were there to help and for the paramedics that helped calm everyone down...and that it wasn't worse than it was. I'm just kind of sad that Skylee will have a hole in her mouth for like 3 or 4 years until her adult teeth start to come in. I miss her cute "baby teeth" smile :(
