I cannot believe that my baby girl is old enough to be starting school...but she is! She started Pre-School today and she LOVED it!! She was sooooo excited to go, especially with her new princess bag (thanks again mom). The only thing that she didn't like was the name tag she had to put on when we got there. She came home all smiles though and excited for Thursday!

Skylee's new Smile
Friday night we went to the Syracuse High football game with some friends and had quite a traumatic experience with Skylee. She was climbing on one of the metal fences that borders the track (even though mommy and daddy asked her about 100 times not to climb on the fence) and slipped and smashed her face on the bar. There was so much blood, and she was freaking out so bad that it was hard to see what exactly was going on. We took her over to the paramedics that were on-site and had them look in her mouth and they determined that her tooth was so loose that it needed to be pulled out. So Skylee ended up with a missing front tooth, a chipped front tooth, another loose tooth and VERY sore gums. She actually hit the fence so hard that there were metal shavings in her mouth! Anyway, she actually handled it pretty well after we got her calmed down, cleaned up, and got some pain medicine in her. She slept through the night that night and barely complained the next day. Her main problem is eating, which is kind of hard. We are taking her to a dentist this week to make sure all is well and that there is no major damage in her mouth. It was so scary to see that much blood coming from my baby girl :( I'm just thankful for all of our friends who were there to help and for the paramedics that helped calm everyone down...and that it wasn't worse than it was. I'm just kind of sad that Skylee will have a hole in her mouth for like 3 or 4 years until her adult teeth start to come in. I miss her cute "baby teeth" smile :(

The Zoo!
Kaisyn had so much fun at the Zoo! He loved watching all of the animals, all of which were called "duggies". This wasn't Kaisyn's 1st trip to the Zoo...we took him last year but he was too little to enjoy it and understand what was going on.

Skylee's Dance Recital
Skylee took a dance class from a girl in our neighborhood all summer long and tonight was the recital. It was so fun for the girls...they even got to be on a big stage and wear dance costumes. Skylee was sooooo excited to wear her costume and show us her dance but I was a little nervous that she would get stage fright and be scared and not want to do it but she did great! Her only problem was she kept looking at us instead of her instructor so she got lost a few times but she did really good. She looked so cute up there doing what she loves...performing for people. I was really proud of her!
Video of Skylee's Dance

Swimming Lessons
I decided that it was time for Skylee to take swimming lessons so that she can learn some swim skills. These pics are of her 1st day of lessons, and she loved it (other than she was cold). I think that the only thing that she didn't like was she had to wear swim pants. It was a fight every single morning to get her to put the stupid things on!! Other than that she did so well! She graduated to the next level, which she starts next month!

Bear Lake...Again!
We had so much fun at Bear lake that 2 weeks later we decided to go again. We spent an afternoon at the Lake, had YUMMY raspberry shakes (you can't go to Bear Lake and not have one!), spent a rainy Saturday relaxin' at our friends cabin, ate lots of good food, and Skylee got to shoot a gun for the first time (with daddy's help of course). And it wasn't just any gun...it was a shotgun that was bigger that she is! She loved it though and wanted to do it again...is this a good thing or a bad thing :)
